Some inspiration for your menu this week…

We are foodies, we love food, I love to cook food, We like flavorful food, We try not to eat junk but my motto is “If I make it from scratch, no matter what it is, it’s STILL better for us then all that processed crap!”  Another thing is, we dont like to eat the same thing all the time, so finding new and inventive ways to eat some of the same things but in different ways is what I strive for. Then its not so….boring.  I figured I would post our menu plan for the week to give some of you maybe some inspiration if your stuck on what to cook, I know it happens to me often! Sunday: B: Eggs in a basket, applesauce

L: BLT pita’s

D:  Bacon Cheeseburgers,  Spin & Feta pasta salad

Monday: B: Pancake Sausage Muffins, yogurt

L: Baked Potato Soup

D:  Fried Calamari, Braised Beef w/ root veggies over rigatoni, Cucumber feta salad

Tuesday: B: Breakfast Pizza- sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, cheese:  fruit

L: Tomato Soup, Grilled Cheese

D: Homemade Peirogis-Potato/Feta Filled or Sausage Cheddar Potato Filled

Wednesday: B: Peanut Butter and Jelly Pancakes with Banana’s

L: Steak N’ Cheese Pita Pockets, Carrot Sticks

D:  Pulled Pork(crockpot), Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Hushpuppies

Thursday: B: Crepes with Blueberry Sauce

L: Chicken & Rice Quesadillas

D: Spagetti & Meatballs (crockpot), breadsticks

Friday: B: Cream Cheese Pastry, applesauce

L: Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Homemade Potato Chips, fruit

D: Steak & Cheese Calzones

Saturday: B: Peanut Butter Toast, yogurt with honey and raisins

L: Meatballs Sandwiches, fruit

D: Balsamic Scallops with Carmelized pears & Shredded Carrots, Mashed Potato
